serious fibro pain

For the last two weeks the pain has slowly crept up on me.  The last few nights I have been unable to sleep for the pain.  My arms, lower back, hips, and the fronts of my thighs (I know weird) just ache so badly.  I am tempted to use my cane today, which would be for the first time since surgery 7/14.  I can't stand up straight.  I've been taken roxicet liquid (leftover from surgery).
It puts me to sleep in about 15 minutes, but I rarely get more than 2 hours straight.  The pain is worse when I'm off my feet.  I was doing so well.  I'd had a long stretch of remission.  (Having had this since 1988). The shock of surgery to my system perhaps?  Maybe just a lot of stress and obligations lately.  I'm so tired.  I know I need to call the doctor, but that's just one more thing to add to my list of things to do that I don't feel like doing.

You'll never leave where you are until you decide where you'd rather be.

Quite possible the stress is causing the flare up. Do make a point of getting ahold of the doc. There is no sense in suffering when you can get meds for relief. Make that the first thing you do. Here's hoping it settles down soon.
