I feel so terrible and exhausted and the reason is FIBRO?!

I am newly diagnoised with fibro. I have noticed its worse around my period and a flare up last like 5-7 days. The symptoms happen in rotation, first muscle weakness then pain and dont even touch me :( Then the chills and hot flashes sometimes with a low grade fever. Then more aches and sinus issues! Always feeling flu like! Then heart palpataions and some air hunger! I feel like I just walked up a flight of stairs and all I did was move around normal at work (Im a dog groomer) Im getting worried I have something more serious too, aniexty and worry plagues me 24/7 when I feel like this?! Anyone else get like this? I need some advice/support! Im about to go to the E.R.! Uggghhhhh why me?

I feel your pain.  Fibro is a difficult diagnosis and from day to day you never know how you will feel. I would sugest talking to your doctor about it and possibly something for aniexty too.  I take oxycontin and vicoding for breakthrough pain, i also take flexeril for my muscles and yes I'm on psy meds.  I have a great supportive doctor who will help me anyway he can.  I hope you feel better soon, Take care,

It does sound like more than fibro to me, especially the shortness of breath and heart palpatations. Those aren't fibro symptoms that I'm aware of and lots of docs like to just lump everything under fibro and leave it at that. If you are that stressed it could be anxiety or panic attacks. You need to bring this up with youir doc again and see if there isn't more to it.Best of luck!
