increased pain post op
Hi,
You will have more pain post op because as you lose the weight, your body shifts to accomodate the new weight. So as you get smaller you will be noticing more pain in the knees and hips mostly. Those are the weight bearing joints, you probably didn't notice as much at your heaviest weight. But now that the load as been lifted, so to speak, they will be crying out "Pain". That is why you have more pain post op then pre op. I think that is when most of us realize that we have Fibro and a lot of people blame the pain on the wls. But it is just due to many reasons. A lot to explain. (I will if you send me an email) I hope this helps. I noticed my knees and my hips that is the most common areas to experience the pain first, then I noticed it in my arms and the beat goes on. LOL
