Fibro ?s

Hi ladies, I have been having some new issues and my BF thought it might be fibro. Her mom has fibro and she had RA. I just wanted the opinion on ppl who deal with it everyday. After I dropped my first 30 lbs I felt great, but things have since changed. I had migraines before and now they are worse, pretty much daily. I have a hard time with my hips in the mornings, it hurts to walk into work. I have been having just pain in genral all over. The newest thing that started is a horrible bloated feeling. I'm also so worn out, I could just sleep all the time, but then if I do, when I get up everything hurts so bad. What do you guys think?

I'm 11 months out and I feel bloated all the time too.  I am very tired and the pain level hasn't gotten any better since dropping 70 pounds.  I have no idea if it  is related to the surgery, but I know that my fibro hasn't gotten better because of the weightloss like I thought it would.  I also notice I am having more trouble with my memory and concentration and feel like the fibro fog in general is worse. 

Have your ferratin levels checked.  Ferratin is your iron storage.  Mine had dropped to 6 before anyone checked it and I felt the same.  I was told they were checking my iron for years.  They were but not ferratin.  The malabsorption inhibits the storage.

Have you had your vit D checked?? I saw a dramatic differnce in my aches and pains when I had to start my perscription D.
The weather here in Maine with all the rain has me hurting more than usual, now. But the things you are describing our symptoms of Fibro. My daughter age 37 has the migranes everyday and nothing helps her. I use to have the headaches and do not now .

Yes! Symptoms of vitamin D deficiency can mimic Fibro, and most folks in the Northeast are deficient during the long-dark days.
