My patch works.......................

so well that I forget I have one on.  With that being said; is because I forget I have it on. I let the 3 days turn into 4 days and that is when I remember to change the patch.  I think that is why I have been having sore arms (i thought when I lifted something heavy) but it was the fact that my 72 hours were up on my patch.  I was thinking "How silly is this, forgetting to change my patch."  But ladies, (and gents) it works that well that I highly recommend that you ask your pain clinic doctor or PCP to put you on it if you haven't tried it.  I am using the Fentanyl 25mcg.  I had to share this because I was telling you that I had sore arms but I won't if I change my patch!!  It is only one inch by half and inch.  Very small and clear that is why I forget about it......  sometimes I can't even find it.  LOL

   I am so glad it's working for you. I have to start with a new Dr and her specialty is rumey...I am so excited who knows we all need to work together to figure this thing out..

Glad it is working for you, but do be very careful with it and fully read the information insert because it is a very strong drug. I used it when my hip was bad (bone rubbing on bone) and my PCP said to be very careful with it. Just an FYI.

Thank you for your comments.  Sometimes I wish they weren't clear.  I have to have my husband do a body check now. just to make sure I haven't missed one.  I put them in different areas each time.  So it is hard to keep up with where they are.  But I am writing the day, and what body part it is one now.  But my problems wasn't putting to many on, hahaha, it was putting not enough one when I needed too.  The more I think about it, the more it makes me laugh.  thanks for the concern and support.  I will  be careful.

I to am on the patch and it works so well I have forgot I had it on too! You're not the only one to 'forget' it was there. :)

I am so glad the patch is working for you.......I tried it about a year or so ago and it makes the pain go away BUT it also made me bust out in blisters from head to toe.....Not any fun let me tell you....HAHA

What patch are you talking about?!

It is the Duragesic Fentanyl pain patch 25mcg.  It works great, but it HAS to be changed on the third day or else the flu like symptoms come back full steam ahead.  I started at a low dose, 12 mcg then up to 25mcg.
