New to OH, I suffer with fibro also

Hi, My name is Brenda. I have been big most my life. I am more concerned with the health problems. I seem to get something new monthly or more, lol. So thats why I am here. From what I have seen I really like the forums. Free advice from real people who go thru the same thing. My surgery is Monday May 4th...... I would like to find friends that understand what I'm going thru.  So feel free to coment.

Welcome aboard, as you can see this isn't a real busy forum but the folks here are awesome and supportive, so if you have any questions ask away. No doubt someone here has already been there,done that!

I have fibro too and had my surgery last August.  I just found this part of the board a couple weeks ago.  I usually hang out at the rny page.  I've learned a lot from this site and I'm sure you will too.

This surgery has changed my LIFE. I am still 315 but I started at 470 and I am much healthier NOW. Please keep us posted how you are doing and read my profile.

Thanks everyone. I have had a little set back. My surgery has been cancelled for this Monday. Insurance problems. They are hoping to have everything ready for May 11th. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

well, I see by the date that you should be through with the surgery.  How are you doing?  Im soo afraid of my pain level after the surgery and getting all of my meds in crushable or chewable form. Was this a problem for you?  I would love to hear from you. My surgery is going to be in August and I have been suffering with the fibro for 6 yrs now.
