Why is everythign so much worse for us?
I had a tooth pulled on Tuesday and I'm still feeling the effects of it. After the extraction I went home and had a full blown flare! I was on my heavy duty stuff with muscle relaxers and yesterday I felt like I was in a cloud, yet I still had pain. I take percocet for the pain the 1050 does, I had the prescription filled in December for 90 and I have about 110-12 left. I have an appointment with her next week and I'm hoping she will change me to something else. The percocet really just doesn't seem to be doing it anymore. Any suggestions?
I'm feeling that if just a oral extraction was like this then surgery even thought I still want it 100 % is going to be a doozy!

I had a hard time getting back on my feet after my RNY. It took about 6 weeks for me to even begin to get some strength and energy back...but its getting better. It made it a lot worse that i was being so impatient with everything too...lol. But why is everything worse for us...its the nature of the beast! We just have to adjust and do what we can to make it through each flareup. I hope that you can toalk to you doctor and she/he adjusts your medication. Have you ever tried any that won't make you drowsy? I have a hard enough time with the fog BS anyway and narcotics always seem to make things worse for me.
