my flare finally broke!! wooohooooo
Had to tell someone.....LOL.....My flare finally broke. I have been in a horrid flare for the past couple months.......with only a few days here and there without the pain scale of 9....It broke it finally broke....HAHA
My pain level right now is probably about a 5-6 which you all know is nothing compared to a flare of 9-10
I got on my bike last night (stationary bike) and I rode until my legs would not move anymore. I knew I would hurt in the morning but I said screw it cause I am gonna hurt anyway. So I got on there and pettled my heart out! Then I did few stretches which felt OH SO GOOD then laid down in my buzzy massage chair (love that chair) and took some pain meds and fell asleep. I slept from about 8:30 till 6am and oh my god I feel so much better today. I am sore yeah wether from the horrid flare or from over doing it exercising don't know which but the flare is broke!!

Hooray!!!! I'm so happy for you, that's gotta be such a relief. I'm kinda getting that same attitude about exercising that I'm gonna hurt anyway so I may as well go ahead and exrecise when I can. You have a great day and hopefully you'll have a nice looooong time before any pain gets too bad for you!
I know it gets so hard to listen to some of my friends that won't exercise just cause they do not want to. I hardly ever exercise cause I can't because of the pain. Makes me want to smack them sometimes.....LOL.....I tell my best friend all the time I don't like her no more.....HAHA I do love her but she makes me so mad when she complains that she don't want to exercise but she could if she wanted to when I can't cause I hurt to much.
I think I found that sweet spot dosage of my pain meds. She put me up to 10mg of Opana instant release and 20mg of extended release and darvocet100-650mg So far it is working really good!! I take the ER 2x a day and the instant 3x a day as needed and the darvocet only as needed. It is weird how it works. 5mg did NOTHING for me but yet 10 is perfect and 15 is WAY to much. Its so weird how fibro works ya know...Anyone else notice that?
My weightloss stall finally broke too yall. I am down to 187 YAY me!!! I have not been that size since I was about 21 so I am real excited about it. My husband has NEVER seen me at this size either and he is gone up in KY and will not be back till mid march so he willl have a HUGE or should I say SMALLER surprise when he gets home. I think I am gonna go buy me a sexy little teddy ....... HEHEHE I cannot wait to see the look on his face when he comes home! I love that man so much!!! He has gave me the best 10 years that I could have ever asked for. So supportive and loving!
Ok now I am gonna start crying from missing him so I will hush

I'm sooooooooo glad you are feeling better hun.
I know for myself, I woke up pain free for the first time in a while.
I think the cold snap here in north florida was a huge part of it.
It's going back to more seasonal temps today...thank God.
I seem to have gained some weight..yikes. I do weigh every day to keep myelf on track, so I'll be doing protein first for a few days.

How are you doing? I am hurting a bit today but not nowhere near as bad as I was before. I think my problem is stress related though. I will be SOOOOOOOOOO glad when my hubby gets home so he can deal with some of this crap!
On top of that I lost a baby bird this morning and that breaks my heart!! He was so little and defenseless and I could not do anything to help keep him alive! It is so sad, and I take it so hard when it does happen. My pain meds just are not helping out today at ALL!! I just do not get it, I was fine just yesterday. Do you get alot of pain when your stressed out?
Oh well I will stop whining now...LOL....talk to you later on. Hope your having a pain free day as well!!
