I'm currently taking Flexeral and it has seem to have lost it's effectiveness.  Is anyone taking anything else that is working and we can take?  I'm seeing my Dr tomorrow so I hope to pick her brain but she doesn't have a huge pharmasuetical background.

I was taking Flexeril, but I take ROBAXIN and it works much better for me. I have Fibro and a host of other things including SLE. I take Robaxin 750 mg.

I take 3-4mg tablets of Zanaflex and it works wonders for me. Hope that helps!

I take 350mg of Soma.....works Great, but makes you Very drowsy at first.  I also tried the zanaflex 4mg 3 timesa day .  And for a while I took both.  Now I am back to just the soma 4 times a day.  It really helps at night.

I had taken Soma for 5 years b4 it finally lost it's effectiveness.  However it is not as strong as Flexeril.  Robaxin rates even lower on the effectiveness scale.  Once you've been on Flexeril you probably won't be satisfied with either Soma or Robaxin.  You might try Baclofen.  It is used in various doses even for things like MS.
