Does WLS help with Fibromyalgia Pain?
Diet and exercise could improve your fibro, but the weight is not a factor. I do know that with mine, I felt worse when other parts of me felt bad. (hope that made sense! )
I will say that I am 4 years post-op in September and the last 2 have been my worse for fibro. living in the beautiful Northwest doesnt' help though.
God Bless
Oh this thread just makes me want to cry. :(
I took slews of tests/xrays/ultrasounds to try to diagnose the complete body pain that I have probably 95% of the time and my doctor said it may be fibromyalgia. I haven't seen her since the tests since they turned up nothing. I am in constant pain daily and have no pain medication (only amitriptylin) and am afraid to ask for them. I thought the surgery would help with my pains, but it appears that it doesn't have an effect at all, which is really disappointing. I don't want to be in this agonizing pain anymore.
I suppose I need to do a follow up with my GP, but I am using all my time up for my surgery and pre-surgery appts already.
I'm sorry just reading this thread prompted me to respond and vent :(
