PS ALSO NEW HERE Have anyone tried a patch that is called SALONPAS on the spots that flare up first. I fine these in the drug stores.are walmart  where every you look go to the RX department.   There"s  a figure of a body  on the box, when I first started using this it had spot on the box of where I had trigger points.  I don't no if I still have a picture of the original box I copy it an sent it to my sister in law. But anyway they help me with the trigger spot I do still take meds but when it really give me trouble. I look polk a dotted  because of all the patches that I have on sometime but for me it works. I took a fall several days ago and low and behold flare up. patch up and down the body.  If you work there is a light scent, it not that loud.  When I first notice the FIBRO my knees would click when I walk, try to tip toe and you could hear my knees clicking .  If you was walking by when I was walking you could hear the click the muscle was so tight. Once I started the meds for all the other hurt the clicking stopped. Odd it was the Fibro that was causing it. Kathleen 07/02/2007

I use the ptches too.  You can get a great deal on them at costco.  The smell is so light I can even wear them to work.  Good product.

I love Salanpas I also purchase them at Costco I recently ordered some Fibroplex from Holisticphysicians and ordered some bigger ones and they work great on my neck.  I always have them in my purse so I can slap one on if I need them  Deb

I LOVE salonpas for the occasional sore shoulder etc but just read that the main jngredient while not injested can cause an ulcer. I do have an ulcer and the PA was trying to figure out how I got it - now I'm thinking it might be from salonpas. And to think I just ordered 10 from Amazon!!!! No more for me.

I have had fibro since 1980.  When I need help but I am not ready for the Tramadol I use Salompas. I discovered them years ago. I also have prescription Lidoderm patchs....Salompas out performs the Lidoderm hands down. Lidoderm will not stay on my skin...Salompas does. I also depend heavily of Flexall 454. It is an old fashioned horse type liniment that actually penetrates into the tissues to warm and heal.  My rhumatologist just gave me a new prescription pain patch called Flector. It works well but I bet Salompas still works better. Just MHO.
