Hi Trish
There is rarely any action here on this board. I check on it every week or so. Your best bet for some good interaction is your state board. Also by starting on the main board you can find some others with like intrests and see what other boards they may be on.
Good luck on your journey! It sounds like you have a great family ready for you to take charge of your life and health!

Kimberly,
The first thing that came to my mind is to ask you if you are excerising?
If you are not that could be your simple answer to just add some walking to your daily activities. Now that you have lost the majority of your weight, walking could be enjoyable and you have a beautiful baby you can take on walks with you. Pushing a stroller was always a great workout for me.
I have not had surgery yet, so I am of no help other than this, but I pray you find your answers. I know what it feels like to be thin and still feel fat. I will probably struggle with that myself. God be with you and I pray you find your answers.

Topic: My first post
Hi Everyone,
I am so grateful that this place is here. This is where it all began and God has taken the wheel, literally.
My family is so amazing even my kids.
I have an amazing husband of 6 years and 3 increadible teenagers. A 16 year old girl and 14 year old twins, a girl and boy. The girls and so excited at the thought of my being thin and being able to do things with them, like walk around the mall, as simple as that. My husband is very scared, but completely supportive, my son just loves me no matter what.
I look forward to being able to be the mom and wife I so badly desire to be physically. I have a picture and desire in my heart of who I am, and my body wont allow me to be that and I my desire is to finally allow those two to meet and mold together.
I look forward to meeting you all and getting to know you.
God bless,
Trish

Topic: Leaving my daughter for surgery
I have a 16 month old, and I'm worried about leaving her while I'm in the hospital. It will be my first night away from her. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Topic: RE: Husband Troubles...
I know that your feelings are hurt but think of his actions as his way of trying to be supportive of your desires to lose the weight. I'm new to this WLS experience, and I'm not married, so that may discount what I have to say in many peoples opinion. But to be honest with you, I wish that the people around me cared enough about me to help me to avoid certain kinds of foods.
For one, I have three children who always have or ask for some kind of food or snack that is tempting.
Two, I work with a boss who feels like having the BIGGEST candy dish in the entire world right in the front of my office is "good customer service".
My co-workers talk about lunch all day, and then return to work with their lunch so the smells are OVERWHELMING.
I wish people around me would CONSIDER me and how hard it must be to go through this process...but honestly they don't.
I think they are sabators.
Your husband is trying to help you. Sometimes guys just don't get it that their actions can be hurtful, even when their intentions are good.
I say kiss the man and tell him you love him even though he's getting on your nerves.

Hi. I looked up wood stain removal and found a link for wood floors. Here is what it said to do:
Ink Stains: Rub with a cloth dampened in warm water and detergent. If the floor is not hard-surfaced, use a commercial ink remover and follow the instructions on the package.
You might also try calling someone *****finishes/repairs wooden furniture and ask them. Good luck!
