Tony Update
Let me start by saying "thank you" for your kind thoughts and prayers.
Tony came out of surgery about 5 hours ago. He is in a lot of pain right now but he is getting his share of morphine....that means I get to watch him sleep.
The surgeon said that his response to radiation and chemo was the best he's ever seen and that the cancer was, for the most part, was non existent. They did the surgery open instead of lap due to his new anatomy from his DS. Also, because the cancer was just about gone before surgery...no colostomy bag..... YAY!!
We still have a long journey ahead of us with post op treatment so please continue to keep us in those thoughts and prayers.
Rhonda,
Thank you for your post this morning. Will you please update the other boards?
We will continue to keep you updated.
