Who would have thunk...I almost forgot to celebrate. I got the babbling thing down to a science, the garbonzo beans, not so much. You all can have my share

October is also national breast canver awareness month. Let me tell you, the men in our office have owned "the real men wear pink" title. It is an honor to see these guys unite for such a good cause. I must say too...men look HOT in pink too.....some of might be the message they convey. Whatever the reason, pink is a great color on guys, so dont be afraid to wear it with pride to honor the women you love and care about .

My guess is HELL YEAH, check them boobies! Women are lucky, not only can we touch ourselves, we are encouraged to do it on a regular basis! I have to FIGHT every year to get a mammogram. The cancer society recommends mammos every year past the age of 40. WELL, mom my was dead at age 37. She was first diagnosed when she was 35. I am quickly approaching that age, yet fail to do monthly exams. Boobies are squishy and such anyway, so I get frustrated not knowing what I am really looking for. I'm working on it and have been doing regular mammograms since I was 30.

Seriously, I don't think breast cancer is about the volume of breast tissue at all. How did you get approved for the boobies anyway? Are you getting a reduction/augmentation? Did the insurance company approve that?

Its funny that everytime I see anything about Breast Cancer awareness or any events I think about us walking our butts off around Chicago...  good times that I so miss...

Anyway.. I had a lump found at age 27... it was a weird thing for me too I just had a "feeling" and I pushed the issue with my GYN who sent me for my first mammo at age 27 then they found something... I guess this is the one time I actually listened to my body...

ANd for any men reading this... breast cancer is not a woman only issue... men do get breast cancer and they are more likely to die of it...
