CHECKING IN......

Okay my Friends and Family.....

I will admit I have slipped away for a bit.....I am sorry but am back and hope we can get going again on here.....let's all jump in and give a quick update.....

I am close to 4 weeks away from having my little Baby Gill (not his name but our love name for him until we announce his real name at birth)....we are soooooooooooo excited.....all has been going well but having a hard time sleeping lately.....I keep saying that I use to be this big in my tummy but it is not the same  My belly is really hard and not squishy...lol....so I will be happy to deliver this little guy soon......

Nate is still in MD and plans to be here for the birth (or I will beat him up...lol) and we will deliver in GA then go to MD for my leave......I CANNOT wait to be a little family.....he is due to get out of the navy in early next year and then he will come to ATL...am so excited!

Work is going fine....busy busy busy....so I am actually very excited to go on leave to have some slow down time from that place....I do love my job but am just tired and sometimes irritable....at the little things....ugh!!!!

Anyway, enough about me.....what is going on with you all?

Greg: I cannot wait to keep hearing how you are doing? CONGRATS again.....

Julie: I am sure it is great having Greg on the same path as you...I peeked at your reunion pics....you look AWESOME!!!

Rhondie: I am so glad about your boobies and TT :) YOU WILL SO NOT REGRET IT....looks like we will be on leave at the same time so please do not hesitate to call me.....and make sure you get a binder for your plastics....I wish I could wear one now :)

Deb and Bob: How is that new house? Any pics? Hope you are feeling better Deb....I just saw on TV that Lake Tahoe got snow yesterday....yikes.....and I hope you had a great time with your son....

Darryl and Rosanna: I am jealous of your trip...where all are you going and I cannot wait to see pics.....

Indy Gang: I saw the pics from your outing....you all look AMAZING....omg...Patti cakes I totally did not recognize you with your longer hair and you are skinny minny! Everyone just looked awesome.....

TONY AND MAR: You have sooooooooooooooo been in my thoughts and prayers and would love an update on treatment and how you all are doing......did you happen to get something in the mail from my mama? :)

I know I am missing more people....was just going through in my head the recent posts.....so where is everyone else???

Welcome Back Annie!!!

I am glad you are doing well and everything sounds wonderful in your life.

Things are going well here.  Greg has lost around 45lbs.  He is doing really good, even though he scared the crap out of all of us being in SICU for 3 days.

I feel better now than I have in a very long time.  I  think I am ready to go to a size 14 in pants!  I have not been in a 14 since I was in HS.    When I take Greg shopping I will have to get me some new things too! 

Well keep me posted sweetie... I cannot wait till your little bundle of joy arrives.

OMG Greg is doing awesome....................wowzers...I bet he feels great......and so glad he got out of the SICU.....I was praying for him...thanks for keeping me on your email distro......

WOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO on size 14.....gotta love it....I got there around my wedding time last year......now with this baby....yea, I wish.....I am very motivated though that after the baby is born to get back to exercising....I feel so breathy and out of shape (like when I weighed 400 pounds) and I know some of it has to do with the baby but man I hate the extra weight too....and I am so puffy.....am thinking of getting the Wii Fit stuff and I heard that Dance Dance Revolution works great.....gotta do something when I am on leave.....oh yea, and take care of Baby Gill :)  you do look amazing sister......

Keep plugging away and send us pics of you and Greg....now that we can do pictures on here in our posts we should share more pics.....in fact here is one of me being all fat and preggo...now show me yours :) (and Rhondie that did not mean your tatas)

Your awsome Annie and you look just the way a proud momma to be should....beautiful. Don't worry about the weight.  Baby Gill will help you out in that area, especially once he figures out the whole "hey when I cry, mommy comes running" thing.

I told Bob I was going to email you today cause I had not seen or heard from you..

Nasir was telling me that if he gets accepted to UNR when he gets close to time to seperate from the Navy they will let him leave 6 months sooner..  Also something about the MGI bill that they will now pay his seperation salary for 2 years while he's in college... I dont know it kinda went over my head but its something to check into...

We are doing great here we LOVE the new house and we are kinda getting lost with all the extra space... haha the dogs however love having a HUGE back yard and they have their own bedroom LOL which they want decorated with male doggy pinups LOL

Nasir left for home Thursday and his unit heads to Kuwait on the 18th then on to Iraq.

If anyone wants to send care packages to the guys in his group pm me and I will forward their address..

Amir got accepted to language school so he starts on Oct 21, they will be teaching him Arabic? I think? His dad speaks Farsi (Persian) I am surprised that the Iraqi's dont speak that since they were all the same country a hundred or so years ago..but what do I know??

Rez is good trying to get ready to take his GED so he can start college in the spring..

So on the education thing... According to Nasir he can separate 6 months earlier if he's accepted into an accredited college.. its part of the MGI bill I think.. So have Nate ask about it..

Lets see Bob's dad is fine he's now in the group home and they have been taking good care of him.. He wasnt real happy at first but apparently he's settling in very well now..

Job well I lost my job.. the company was having some financial issues and decided that the sales staff was the lesser of 2 evils. I am however consulting for them here and there when they need me so I am not totally gone. I had a head hunter contact me though about a technical trainer job on a 2 year contract and I would freaking LOVE to get it so I had to revamp my resume with my tech background and we'll see.. if it doesnt happen I am sure its for a reason..

In the meantime I am playing housewife and keeper of the dogs. haha but I love being here when Bob gets home and having dinner ready.. :)

My parents want us to come to GA for Christmas but with my current job loss we decided to pass it up this year.. Plus honestly with Nasir being deployed I'm just not feeling christmas this year ...(or any other holiday)

Okay, sorry....I realize I did not respond....my bad....sorry!!!!!

So, what does the M stand for in MGI? I am TOTALLY going to mention this to Nate......his plan is to finish his school once he gets out anyway......that would be so awesome.....he is still dealing with his back pain right now (and no, it is not ME :) ) so he may have to have surgery and we are going to make sure he gets that taken care of before he leaves the USN :)

Oh awesome on Bob's dad....glad he is adjusting....I am sure it was hard on all of you!!!

Dangit on the work situation....crapola........but I hope you get the contractor job.....that would be so awesome!!!! Are you active on linkedin.com? It is a free networking site and I have had former colleagues and friends get some leads/jobs off of there too.....may give it a try too.....

I am so sorry you are not feeling the holidays......that sucks! Just know that Nasir is doing something great for our country and you will be blessed.....does not take away the worry but we can do that through lots of prayers.....I would have loved to see you in GA.....likely we will be up in MD a few weeks after the baby anyway.......BUT, if you want to come to GA I told Dawnie that I would be HAPPY to see as many visitors when I head back to work as I will be a single mom since Nate has to go finish up his service in MD......so consider an open invitation......it would be a blast if you came when Dawnie came too :)

Hi Annie, good to see you! Wow 4 weeks away...woohoo!!! I'm doing ok, keeping very busy with work both my FT job and trying to get more work with my PT Graphic Design Business. The Racing Season ends in 2 weeks with our last race and I'm tied for 1st place for the season championship and gonna do my best to win it!
