Bittersweet...

Just got off the phone and reserved my surgery for 01/05/2009 to get my breast reduction/lift and tummy tuck !! 

I was really contemplating on the tummy tuck.. the breasts are covered under medical.. and the tummy not (paying out of pocket with parents helping.. I sooo hate asking for help).. and with the economy SUCKING BIG ONES right now.. I'm a little leary of paying out money that might be used to better things.

However..  I keep thinking that all my life I've put stuff off in my life.. (just incase).. sooooo I'm thinking I need to have faith that all will be okay.. and just do this FOR ME..

Let me tell you one thing.  The tummy tuck is so worth it.  I cannot tell you how much better I feel.  I feel even more confident in myself.  To go down 4 more pant sizes for me was just awesome and a big ego boost.  To be able to go to a clearance rack and find clothes in my size that are actually cute is one of the small gratifications.

I am so happy for you.  Take a look at my profile.  I posted some pics from my class reunion a couple weekends ago.  That was the biggest ego boost of my life.  WHOOHOO!

Congradulations Rhonda you are going to look marvoulous with your new tatas and flat tummy. I think my tummy tuck was the best surgery that I did.  I can not wait to hear about the end result.  Hugs Tricia

I agree with you Tricia.  The gastric bypass was the first best surgery I did, then the tummy tuck was the second.  I feel better now then I ever have.

I wish I was getting new tatas... do you think they could do a 2 for 1 thing.  Take away from you and give some to me.  I know Greg would like that very much .

well as much as I hate to ever hear that a breast is being reduced,  congrats hun.  yeah I know, typical man..  maybe i should get that done myself.  don't like to brag, but I think I've got a pretty impressive set my self,  for a man.

Seriously sweetie, I'm very happy for you.  I know what a difference it made for Julie . 

Just remember that you do have friends who love you if you need us.

It *is* scary stuff, given the economy...  but look at it this way -- if you'll have this gorgeous body (not that you don't already) and can go shake the new parts for a few dollars. heehee
