My day...

So last night FIL had issues so I was up late with him.. which apparently set the tone for the day today... 1) I go down to Lake Tahoe, we are purchasing some x-ray equipment and I had to go down there to pay for it.. it was a lovely day and nice and cool there this morning.. which is a good thing because of course the minute Spark leaves town my a/c goes out in the Honda.. ugh... 2) I have to drive to Silver Springs NV... if you were ever wondering where BFE is... its actually Silver Springs NV.... where having teeth is not a requirement of residency... Anyway I am sitting in the waiting room for the person who is going to hand over a huge deposit check on a new x-ray room I just sold them.. so I sit and wait.. and wait and wait... they keep calling her office and her line is busy... no one wants to take the initative to go to her office I mean after all this is a double wide trailer it could take them all day finding their way through the maze of metal and dry wall to find her office... I suggested a trail of bread crumbs...(pleae note the sarcasim) I literally wait for an hour... they call again get her voice mail " I will be out of the office for the rest of the day" SHE FREAKING LEFT WHILE I WAS WAITING IN THE WAITING ROOM!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Now wouldnt be so bad but I just drove 1 1/2 hours in the freaking desert with NO A/C!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok so then I go to my car... try to start... laugh to myself and try again.. *#(@^!)#$!!! I forgot to turn off my headlights!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes I was using my headlights because in the desert in the middle of the afternoon the teethless people of Silver Springs can't see you on the highway without your headlights on.. so its the law... Ok no big deal... my boss and our processor engineer are heading back to the office from the next town over which is about 90 miles of open desert... Well in the mean time this nice guy with 1 tooth and 1 leg came over and asked if I needed help... I briefly heard sounds like banjos... shook it off and said why yes... he takes out a pair of jumper cables that I believe Moses used to jump start a chariot or two... I hook them on my battery and on his.. he revs his engine and POOOOOOOFFFFFF SMOKE EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the cables are ON FIRE not good in the desert when you are in the middle of fire season... I am freaking out... I found a rag and got the cables off both batteries... while mr toothless good sumaritan stood there and shrugged apparently this is a daily thing for him??? I dropped the cables (with flames on them) on to the ground... on some freaking dried up grass!!! Yes you can imagine what happened next.. FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fortunately not a big one and the 4 bottles of water I brought for the trip was able to put the fire out... WHEW.... ANyway.. Sparky when you comin home???? I wanna u to take me out to dinner!!! Debby

I am feeling pretty good now. Pain is pretty much gone. I am back to work, I went back last week.. UGHH! I could have used the rest of August off to get the kids ready for school. Thanks for asking. I hope you have a wonderful day and an awesome weekend. Hugs Julie

I hooked up the freakin cables!!! And after speaking with you I learned to NOT look at the colors on the battery cables but to look at the battery...ok but I dont think I should take the blame do you? I mean really !!!! If I had been in poland I might have looked!!! Debby
