Healing and itching!!

Hi my dear precious WLS family. It seems like an eternity since I posted on the boards. I had thigh tuck surgery May 14th and I am healing nicely and itching like crazy. The doctor removed 21 pounds of fat , 1- 8inch wide and 16 and a half inch long section of skin from one thigh and 1- 8 inch wide and 17 and a quarter inch section of skin from the other thigh. Lypo-suction and surgical skin removal are amazing. I didn't know skin could stretch so far!!! I got before pics and it looks like a giant squid with the tail chopped off and cut in half. It has really relieved a lot of pressure from my knees and it looks so strange not to have those big sagging sand bags of fat on my thighs anymore. Dr. Willard is just awesome. I had some swelling and they ruled out a blood clot and think it is where I tried to do too much too soon after surgery. They put me on blood thinners for two weeks and it seems to be getting better. I have so much to catch up on with everyone. I sure have missed you all. Hope everyone is doing well and your life is full of happiness. Hi Sweetie! Glad to hear you are doing well except for the itchies. (HUGS) I have my tummy tuck next week! I am excited and scared at the same time, but I know I will be happy with my results in the long run. You keep taking care of yourself.. Love and Hugs Julie and Greg

Hi Princess..... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO good to hear from you....we have surely missed you!!!!! How exciting on the surgery poundage removal.....when I had my abdomonoplasty, he removed 30 pounds....it was awesome (unfortunately I have gained some back...ugh).....glad you are doing well....how is your family too and your lovely man? Keep coming by baby....we have missed you!!!! Annie
