Sunday: Liven up the Board Post

Good Morning Famiy and Friends.....here we go for Sunday..... 1) Do you have any fur babies? If so, tell us about them. If not, have you in the past or do you want them? 2) Do you drink while you eat? If so, does that mean that you can eat more?

Good Morning Everyone.....just thought I would post for once... 1) I have two fur babies! Cats that is I didn't think you meant Fur babies(do they even sell those anymore?) Jake and Ellwood I think ellwod is about 29lbs and Jake is 21 as ellwood steals all the food. They are on a diet but Its hard cuz they are constantly begging. 2) Yes I drink when I eat and yes it means I can eat more! Maybe thats why I've gained 20lbs in the last year. It can'r be because of the cookies and carbs I'm eating no way. Going to a charity golf outing today. Never golfed before but since I usually donate and somebody asked me to golf. I figured I might as well get something for my money. It's going to be almost 90 today. Hopefully it won't rain and I'll get some sun. Keep up the posts Annie. I miss all you guys Lori

OMG....who are you again???? JK...how are you sunshine....I am sooooooooooooo glad you stopped by and even posted....we miss you so much and please keep coming back....please..... I have gained 25 pounds in the last year too I have always drank while eating and definitely think that has something to do with it.....it is so hard to quit....I need to mentally make it happen....totally mental! How was golfing? You seem like a person who golfs so that surprised me.....and hey, I heard there was a possible tornado touch down by Chicago...was that far from you? How else are you doing sister? Do you get to see anyone else we do not hear from lately? Miss you more! Annie

Good morning Ann 1) Do you have any fur babies? If so, tell us about them. If not, have you in the past or do you want them? A) I have always had dogs...but now because Rossana and i work 10 to 12 hour days it would not be good to have a dog in the house and not be able to get outside to releive itself. So Rossana's daughter Andrea, has moved into her own place and they won't let her have her cat...so we have yerka. 2) Do you drink while you eat? If so, does that mean that you can eat more? A) nope...I don't drink while I eat or for a half hour after I eat. I have remained stable, +/- 5 pounds, at 250 for the last year. Have a great day....now I have a 6 page paper to finish today so back at it. Darrol

Hi D! I am so proud of you on not drinking while you eat.....I am positive this is part of my problem.....any tips for us? And congrats on remaining stable with your weight....woooo hoooooo! Hope you got that paper done too..... Take care, A

1) yes, just adopted an abandoned kitten 2 weeks ago, it's little eyes had not even cleared. I am guessing it is just now about 6 weeks old. Now 2 weeks later it's an ornery, fiesty healthy little thang, watch your toes! We've had different fur babies over the years, just depends on the mood we're in or how busy we are with our lives whether we have any or not. 2) sometimes a sip, I never really drank with my meals pre-WLS. Haven't noticed if I can eat more or not, my pouch still is relatively small. Although some days, water or not, I feel like I eat like a pig. have a good Sunday, Annie!

Oh man....I love kitties....in fact I love cats but have never had one...maybe in the future..... I am jealous that you never drank pre WLS with meals....I think that matters.....there are definitely times where I feel like I am eating like a pig too....and then other days I get full easily...what is up with that!!!! Hope you are doing well Mama!

I'm doing, Ok. I don't like my new job, but will stay with it until my job counseling crap is done, it's through SS and all be for the better in the long run. I regimented myself for 3 years prior to my WLS, I kept stepping forward in my journey, then sat back down, what a long long road to my recovery. I gave up all my vices for the longest time.. some slipped back in, most did not! I do have a sip when I feel something "stuck" like Theresa mentioned, but not ever as a rule. Just don't bring it to the table with ya Annie! If your out, just ask for a glass of ice.. just takes practice! hugs, Mama

He brought his yellow lab, Daisy to the relationship and I brought my dog, Ripley. Daisy is a sweetheart, she is well behaved and she is a trained therapy dog. Ripley, on the other hand, is just a plain ol' untrained d-o-g! Since he started hanging out with Daisy, he has really blossomed and is becoming more like her every day! They are great friends now. 2) Do you drink while you eat? If so, does that mean that you can eat more? This is a GREAT question!! Actually, I had gotten in to the nasty habit of drinking while eating knowing that I should not be doing it. About a week ago, I did the 5 Day Pouch Test. This really helped to get me back on track. I really can eat more if I drink with my meal so I am trying to focus on not drinking anything 30 minutes before or after a meal. This is HARD....especially now that we have had some really warm days here in NM. But, it does make a difference. Of course, I'm not 100% compliant but I'm trying.

Hi Miss Beautiful!!!! I am so glad you are coming by and coming by more and more often... Okay, first....love the dog names....omg...how cute.....so, what kind of dog is Ripley.....that is awesome that they have become friends and sounds like Ripley is now taking lessons from his new friend Sooooooooo, tell us about the 5 Day Pouch Test....there are so many pouch tests I have found...so tell us about this one......I know besides the drinking while eating I need to start exercising again...any tips on that? Tell Chooch we said hi...is he walking yet? Tell Tony to come post too....so glad you are here Mar!!!!!
