Ridiculous...

(Maybe I'll appointment myself President of *****iness. My hormones these days certainly go in line with that...) Ok. So. This morning was step-daugter's 5th grade "graduation". Sure the ceremony is fine, and it is good to encourage the kids to keep doing well, always do their best, etc. But... what is WITH some of these parents? I swear some of them seem to think yelling for their kids is a contest. Whoever gets the most people and yells "GO LASHONDA! GO TAYLOR" the loudest, wins. Then we walk outside. Some parent had rented a HUGE, CUSTOM-PAINTED, SUPER-LONG STRETCH HUMMER LIMO. Oh PUH-LEEZE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Given what limos cost -- never mind adding "super stretch, custom, and Hummer" to the mix, you KNOW this cost a fortune. Because you also know they would have added an extra fuel-charge to the rental. I mean, a regular hummer probably gets 8 miles to a gallon on a good day. So THIS thing probabaly had to have two gas tanks and probably gets all of 2 miles to the gallon. Jeepers. Some parents need to find a better way to say "Good job" and spend their money. That was just ridiculous. .
