Bi-weekly, that is. Ok, folks, don't ever go and have a heart attack. They suck. I went for my follow up with the Cardiologist who treated me in the hospital. I'd lost 20 pounds (good) but I had gained 40 points in one month on cholesterol. WTF?????? I said, "How on earth could that happen? You have me on medication out the butt and I haven't had one friggin' fried thing or carbs in a month. When I eat like crap, I'm healthy on my bloodwork." He was a little stunned since I had been so sweet and docile in the hospital and I was the youngest person in his waiting room by at least 20 yrs. His answer? Well, I thought it would work, let's try something else. Now, going to start another medication and do another echo cardiogram in 6 weeks. I'm getting the rx, but I also found that new Centrum vitamin with cholesterol lowering stuff. Also eating oatmeal with a scoop of protein in it. I'm back to work full-time and the whole damn place fell apart while I was gone. And that's not an exageration. So, my 2 Center Managers were called and told to get back on track and gave them my detailed and bullet pointed list of how to do so. You know, since I'm not bossy at all. So, the world is coming back together pretty well. When folks come in my office (cuz I'm an open door boss) and they give me their sob stories about "my carpal tunnel", "my head hurts", "my" WHATEVER. I used to do 2 things, but now added a third. 1. Carpal tunnel gripers---I pull out my carpal tunnel brace and say I'm going on having it for 11 yrs. Wear your brace. 2. When they gripe about something else hurting--I pull out my elbow brace for tendonitis and say, "they're $11 at Wal Mart or get the generic version of tylenol". NOW, I get to add: 3. "Look, I've had a stress induced heart attack with a 95% blockage at the pre-menopausal age of 40. I am a case that is being studied at this hospital and will probably be part of the next cardiologist's convention since women my age never have 'widow maker' blockages and heart attacks while driving themselves to the hospital. I'm sorry, I've forgotten your complaint now. What did you want?" I know, I'm a *****

Speaking of...I had to travel with my boss this am. We had to stop at almost every convenience store because he had "stomach problems". On one of his pit stops, I went in and bought him some immodium and told him to take it. If I had to listen about his "upset stomach" and get the visual of him dashing to the rest room one more time I was gonna . And I luvs y'all too! I'm getting back to whatever "normal" was for me, but I'm tellin' ya; don't have a heart attack. The after affects suck!

Thank you for my update Ms. Princess....not Ms. Biotch.... I will have to agree with Rhondie....you sound like you are back to your old self....and I love that..... Now a few points.... - Awesome job on the weight loss....do you think the Cholestrol count has to do with exercise too? I heard that that counts but you would think the meds would help...what you on? I was on Tricor and Zetia for my triglycerides.....one of them I heard on TV doesn't even help anymore.... - Take it easy at work.....you know what is funny>? You know I have managed call centers in my former life too and I SOMETIMES really miss it...but was telling my boss lately that the part I totally do not miss is the petty **** that comes with it...like the examples you give....but I LOVE your responses.....I was a very open door boss too and spent sometimes way too much time listening to crap in people's lives...it is sad but sometimes gets hard as people go through some hard ****ugh.....but keep being you.....stay strong but don't get too overworked to raise that heart rate!!! - How is your mama doing? - What kind of diet they got you on? You still sleeping a lot too? I am so happy to hear from you....you are constantly in my thoughts and prayers....keep me updated or I will come searching for you again missy! Much loves, Annie

Princess; that's funny. I just so happen to be in my pink "Big Dog" pj's that have Princess on them. I also have a pair of their boxers in pink that says "Drama Queen". Thank goodness for people who understand my need for attention! Medicine...ok. I was on Tricor and that didn't do anything but raise my overall count. I'm on Simvastatin. I'm also on Plavix, Metrolopol and Lisinopril (one is an ace inhibitor and one is a beta blocker-don't know what is what), and upped Metformin for diabetes (was taking it for polycystic ovarian problem-this medicine's side effects were found to help poly). I had not any problems with a sugar or blood pressure issue until this and dang if the stress didn't put me into the 300's on sugar. I had up to 17 units of insulin one day in the hospital. I'm having readings from 85 to 105. Crap, I can't remember every drug I was put on, I just know there are so many I had to buy one of those "days of the week" pill things the old folks get. Between vitamins, supplements, and rx's I am taking over 20 pills a day. I'm not really complaining. This chick is a walking miracle. My cardiologist is presenting my case at a cardio conference this year because I should be dead. First, according to him, I shouldn't have even had this. Pre menopausal women my age do not have blockages and heart attacks like I did. Also, since I had little to no plaque in that 95% blocked main artery, I am "theory" that heredity can be the only cause for heart attacks in women like me. (He's forgetting he told me stress was a big cause, too) However, I am going to be talked about in universities for years to come and may be able to give someone the needed information to cure heart disease in women. Woo hoo! Doc was so impressed with himself telling me this, but didn't think it was funny when I asked if he was going to chop some off my bill for his future fame and fortune. Call Centers...mine are, thankfully, different where there is no time frame pressure. So right now, my Centers are the place where people want to transfer or promote to instead of the offices they're in. I just love to hear that. But, about 4 more years and I've had enough call center. My Director should be retiring about that time and I'll apply for his job. If I don't get it, I'll only have 6 yrs to retirement after he leaves. Then heading to the house and traveling baby! Oh, wait. I forgot I bought another house which came with a new 30 yr mortgage. Talk to ya soon
