Midwest Earthquake??
Morning Sweet Annie
I felt it but couldn't imagine what it was.....it shook my bed and my first thought was My Lord what is that dog doing? Keep in mind he is only 6 pounds but it was 4:25AM and I must of been in that deep sleep. My Sister in St. Louis said it really shook everything including items in her glass curio cabinet.....earthquakes in the midwest seem so wierd.
But we are fine...thanks for checking
My puppies must have known it was cuming cuz they started barking like crazy about a minute before it happened.
I lost a couple pictures when they fell off the wall - but other than that we are ok.
It was really strong in Springfield because the epicenter was not far from us. AS barb said
Hugs and kisses and thanks for checking on us!
Woke me up, yelled at the dog cause i thought she was up to no good, she looked at me like, byatch please, and we both went back to sleep.......
Aftershock was felt during our monthly inter agency-counsel meeting....scared me: we were on the 5th floor of the courthouse with no where to go but down in the event the building decided it had enough and I DONT like heights ....apparently my face reflected that fear and the being the baby (as the youngest person there) .......everyone laughed at me, the head State's Atty said: dont worry, this building is strong....other than that, no damage, no injuries.
