Denied Twice
Well I got the second denial letter for my plastics. I am a little bummed, but then again Greg and I decided I could borrow the money against my 401k and pay myself back.
So I am calling the surgeon tomorrow for pricing and to see when I can get in and get this over with. I hope to have it done before summer kicks in. WHOHOO!
Greg is still working on getting the gastric bypass surgery. He has lost around 25lbs so far. He has to the end of June to complete the required program by his insurance and the bariatric program at OSU.
I hope everyone is doing well. You all are so great and I love you all bunches.
Lots of (HUGS)

Hi Sparky!
I was in TN with the group, where were you?
I work days and not at a computer, I drive auto parts around. [Right now, I'm sneaking on during lunch] so I don't usually get to read the board until the evening, by then it's sometimes too late to comment on some things.
I'm ok, same thing different day. Oh I still need hernia repair, but can't afford to take the time off of work, no short term disability.... so
AND I can't figure out how to make my bike run on my own, friends say they will help, then offer a ride instead. So c'mon over
I'll try to check in more often. xoxo Vickie
Ya know if it's a umbelical hernia the recoop time is really only a few days. The lower one is a hurtin puppy! I was back to work in 3 days with the umbelical though. What's the bike doin? Remeber the basics, fuel, ingnition and compression. You can check the fire/ignition by pulling the plug wire sticking a screw driver in it and laying it accross the motor and trying to start it or pull the plug and stick the plug wire back on it and lay it on the motor and try and start it. You should see a spark at the end of the plug. If you don't the cheapest first thing is replace the plug. Then id that's not it then it gets complicated. Next is fuel. Try and start it then pull the plug and see if it's wet. If it is you're getting fuel. If it's not you may have a stuck float or your needle and seat are stuck. Did it sit for a while without being started? It could be gummed up. Next is compression. Pull the plug, put your thumb over the hole and when ya turn it over it should blow your thumb off the hole (it won't hurt) . But it should be hard to keep your thumb on the hole.
Try all that. Hope it helps, Hugs, Sparky
sneaking in again. I have 2 hernia's, one is where my spleen used to be, the other is an umbilical hernia.
the bike is doing nothing, before I can check anything it needs to be together. I had to replace the carb boots, done that, but forgot the permatex, then it got cold here and I stopped for last year. Now I got to remember where the fuel lines all go, then change the spark plug, drain the brake lines, and change the old. I did make it to the library and get the book I needed to go on. NOW I just need TIME!
Well girl MAKE TIME!!!!! It's the best time of year for riding and you deserve a break!
Now get your nose in that manual and put that puppy back together!
Thank God I had two Suzuki's that were a lot alike when I tore into the Carbs. I had to go to the 800 a few times to remember how to put the 1400 back together and I even had the manual.
Deb and I take our Safety course this weekend and plan to be hittin the road around may 1. We're not going far the first trip but we are really lookin forward to it!
Good luck sweety, Hugs, Sparky
