Hey people, I'm back!
As you know, I've been treated for pneumonia for about three weeks. Well, it wasn't pneumonia. However, all of the prayers and thoughts you put forth for me were soooooooo very important and I appreciate them. On Wednesday March 19, I had a heart attack. My attack did not have the typical symptoms. However, due to my diligence of going back to doctor and having x rays and having my attack on the way to the doctor, I am alive. My attack felt like the pain I had had with "pneumonia" for three weeks, just intensified and labored breathing. Long story short, on Good Friday I had an angioplasty where they found my main artery was 95% blocked (very little plaque, was told stress most likely) and I now have a pretty little stainless steel stent in my heart. I hope that will improve with my activity and better dietary choices. The bad part is that the back of my heart has permanent damage and was not working enough to pump out the fluid in my lungs. So, I'll be living with that for the rest of my (hopefully) very long life.
I won't be on the puter much, it's tiresome to me. I just wanted my OH friends to know why and what's been going on. Your prayers and other chains across my world were heard. Don't ever think God doesn't hear prayers, because I should be dead right now. My cardiologist said it had to be divine intervention because women my age just almost never have blockages. So, praise God and thank you OH family.

ARE YOU FRIGGIN KIDDING ME?!?!???!?!?!?!?!??!
Just as an FYI.... don't worry too much about the "permanent damage"
I am not sure they totally understand what the heart can do yet.
My dad had a massive heart attack in 1998.
In the last few years of his life (2003 onward -- untill everything started to fail in 2007) everytime he went to the cardiologist his heart was better and better.
Really.
It must regenerate.... just slowly.
Stents are great things.
