Daily Prayer/Thoughts Requests: NEW POST

F&F: Rhondie suggested that there was an awesome post on a daily basis on the Texas board for people to post prayer needs and thoughts to be given out....so, I agreed to do the nightly watch and post the requests for the day....if you are a person of prayer or thoughts for other people we thought we would summarize it here on a daily basis. PLEASE DO NOT FEEL THAT YOU HAVE TO BE A PART OF THIS...or that this is a religous post....there are several people here that often ask for prayer/good vibes and thoughts be sent their way or people that they love or care about....so, we will summarize on a daily post which I will do every evening....let's give it a whirl and see if we like it or not..... Post any other ideas too as we get this whole thing started.....otherwise post away on prayer requests/good thought vibes....likely I will post some long term needs we can keep going..... Okay...I will get us started on some things that ring a bell for me at the moment... Prayer and Good Vibes For.... Wanette and Martin: As Wanette prepares to say goodbye this week to her mom...I believe the services are Tuesday evening and burial on Wednesday..... Beckie, Jonathan and Mallory: The new little baby arrives on the 19th....prayer for smooth delivery, lots of rest and healthy new little baby Becky: Her RNY is this Wednesday the 19th...pray for a uneventful surgery, smooth and fast recovery and to a very happy new life she is about to embark on.... Becky's Mom: Diagnosed with breast cancer a few weeks ago....pray for a complete healing and recovery Two people from my work: Both diagnosed with cancer in the last few weeks...one just had a mastectomy last week and one is waiting the outcome of the biopsy so he can begin 3 aggressive bouts of chemo and a bone marrow transplant A friends mom...just found another lump in her other breast...she had breast cancer last year and went through a mastectomy and chemo...now she may have it in the other breast.... If I think of more I will post...thanks everyone!!! Annie

Thank YOU so much Annie.. you seem to be the right lady for the job now if you could please add Dan and I on that list.. we are both struggling and have decided to go our separate ways here soon. Everyones support to both of us is very much appreciated. Thanks..

I love this kind of stuff....plus the support part is one of the main reasons we are all here...right??? You know that you got my prayer requests...I am sorry for you both but proud of you both as adults to realize you must do this for you BOTH.....cannot wait to see you soon!!! Loves, Annie

Let's add Liz from OKC.....been sick with pneumonia and her recent blow out (ok, that sounds bad) of her rib....keep her in your prayers for a quick recovery!!! (and don't go back to work unless she is feeling better)

Maybe everyone can keep my Dad in their prayers. We had to call in hospice for him last friday. They seem to think he wont last another 6 months to a year. Pray for Deb and I that we have patience and Understanding during the trying times cause my Dad can make ya nuts! Thanks everyone! Sparky

You got IT sparkles.....we will definitely add papa sparkles to the list and you and deb.....you two are two of the strongest people I know....I will continue to pray for that strength....

You two have been put through the ringer this past year. Just imagine having to go through these things without each other. I bet neither of you can remember when you weren't together anymore, can you? You two are always in my prayers. As well as Nasir and Amir. When Nasir gets settled in again and Amir gets his "location", let me know and we'll pick them back up with our boxes. I haven't been doing it since Christmas and I feel guilty, so I need to buck up and get these things going again. If you want to send him my way, now, but we could share a bed. Can he stand the smell of mentholatum and gastric bypass farts? These are two very important things. Liz

Thank you all for the prayers, but don't waste them on me. There are far too many others in our "family" that needs God's attention more than me right now. Since I got the new computer, I have a tool bar that I've got a bible verse of the day. I know we have some Jewish family member and didn't want to post New Testament items. But, if they don't mind this one, I think it would do Wanette, Debby, and Sparky some good right now. Jesus said to her, "Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life

Keep Lizzie in our prayers that she will continue on the road to health and happiness. My deepest prayers go out to Wannette and Martin during this difficult time. I'm sending love and prayers to Rhonda and Dan. They both deserve to be happy and Rhonda provides so much love to everyone on this board so I'm sure I'm speaking for everyone when I say we are lucky to have her on this board. Good thoughts and prayers to our own Peppermint..things will get better Prayers and thoughts for my best friend Sher, her Mom has been in the hospital with blood clots and she is 80 years old ...good thoughts please Hugs to everyone!
