I am so depressed over the elections. The democrats are lying about pulling out of Iraq (simply impossible to do right now), are fighting with each other with no winner in sight and McCain is honest about Iraq but will support many other policies i do not agree with. I want the war to end, but not at the price we'll pay if we do it unilaterally with no plans to protect the region. I want a candidate who is strong on foreign policy but won't drag us into more ridiculous pointless wars, one who will be fiscally responsible and help equalize the playing field in America, one who won't be owned by the big pharmaceutical companies, one who won't cave to religious groups intents on legislating morals, one who cares about the environment and won't back something idiotic and bad for us like ethanol as an alternative fuel! Not to mention one who won't be beholden to the Chinese or Hizballah! Well that aint gonna happen so i'm moving to Sweden because regardless of their politics, they have a good music scene going.

Meanwhile there are reports that we've made a deal with Iran to withdraw from Iraq and leave them in control of the area. I'm not being political here as i'm not endorsing anyone. i'm just explaining why i'm so apathetic and frustrated. I give up. I'll probably snap out of it and vote for someone but right now i'm just so damn frustrated i want a donut and THAT's what this board is about right? I can vent instead of eating??? I will eat pie. can it be cherry? its terribly frustrating and frankly I dont think living in MI helps things one bit. I feel badly for whomever gets into office next, cause they have one hell of a job before them thanks to dubya. is sweden warm? I could use warm right now.
