~~...Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than cir****tances, than failures, than success, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes. ~~ - Charles Swindoll so how's your attitude and what *attitude* do you enjoy being around?? ..and how do you know when *you* need an attitude adjustment?? hugss

I've always liked this quote, but I like it more now that this board has developed online and face to face relationships. The relationships that last and have bonds and trust built. None of us go into all of our problems online for the world to google, but we do share some of our darkest days on this board. AND it never ceases to amaze me the outpouring of compassion, lifting of prayers, encouragement, shared joys and congratulations, and a general overall acceptance of all. So, here's my quote: " It is a curious thing in human experience, but to live through a period of stress and sorrow with another person creates a bond which nothing seems able to break." Eleanor Roosevelt

When I was a boy of fourteen, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be twenty-one, I was astonished at how much he had learned in seven years. ~Mark Twain, "Old Times on the Mississippi" Atlantic Monthly, 1874
