What the hell happened? Where is everyone? Two weeks ago this board was nearly hoppin.... Tell us something. Anything. Something like "I gotta toothache" or something like "this one time at bandcamp..." ME: Once I had to go to Korea with 10,000 dollars in cash and a box of 3,000 condoms. .

Got nothin.. let me think.. I used to drive a 1988 red Iroc with T-tops and a 350 rebuilt engine in it. I LOVED this car.. super fast.. super cool.. and I was a mere 18-19 when I had it. Loved to drive around in shorts and a swimsuit (because I could then ).. Anywhoo.. I got caught for the first time speeding in this car.. it didnt have a working speedometer.. (my dad was going to fix it and I just happened to get caught before he did). I got clocked doing 69 in a 35 zone... lol.. one more MPH and it would have been considered officially wreckless endangerment or something like that. The cop that got me was headed toward me and had to turn around in the middle of the road.. it was like a true cops and robbers episode! LOL.. I pulled over and I had no arguement.. I couldnt.. I didnt have the faintest idea how fast I was going.. it was Friday, I was out of work.. could have been speeding?? .. so, he is rather mean to me.. makes me get out of my car on the side of the road for a speeding violation.. (now, I grew up as a mechanics daughter..I know SOME things).. he proceeds to tell me I have "rotted out equiptment".. I ask what he means.. "your exhaust is rotted out, cant you hear that??".. I ask "how can you HEAR rot?" I then tell him it was just replaced.. he doesnt get down to look, ever.. then he tells me that I am going to fail emissions because of the smell.. I say, Its a newly built engine.. I can smell some oil but nothing is wrong.. he ignores me .. probably thinking "stupid girl" ... while I am thinking "I should have out run him.. I would have then.. not now.. then he hands me a SUMMONS to appear in court and two tickets that make me go to emissions and inspection before my court date... UGH.. so I do.. Emissions.. pass (some rotted equiptment, huh) and the "smell"... it was oil that was burning off the engine (spilled a tiny bit). Court... class A offense, knocked down to a class C. Out the door paying a least a 1/4 of what my ticket would be if he had not tried to be a hardass. $93.00 said and done.. if he gave me a ticket right then and there.. it would be like $400.00. Wow that was long!
