http://www.freecycle.org/ This is a great way to help and be helped. In my area I have seen all kinds a great stuff....I'm just never quick enough to be able to pick up on the stuff. Check it out and see if there is a group near you to start giving unneeded stuff and getting needed stuff for free. D.
