Prayers Please

Deb and I got home last night and Dad's O2 sats had dropped to 77 and his heartrate was 125. He was semi out of it and having a hard time breathing. We called the paramedics and they took him to the hospital. Turns out he had a collapsed lung. The intibated him and stuck a tube in his right lung. We left around midnight and he was stabilized. They are gonna run all the test's today and see why his lung deflated. So any prayers would be appreciated! Thank everyone. Sparky

Thank you darlin. We've been down this road before and ya just never really know what the outcome is gonna be. I will definently keep everyone informed. Funny how no matter how aggrivated I am with him, when he's hooked up to vent and laying not responding I can't help but love him. Deb has totally been there for me all this time. Even when she's ready to strangle him for peeing on the toilet she never complains and is always very patient. I got myself a Jewel. Hugs, Sparky

Sparky - My family is going through this very same thing with my grandfather! His lung collasped a couple months ago, and he is already on Oxygen because he has COPD. Well it has gotten worse. They brought him in last wednesday because he couldnt breathe... what ever infection caused the collasped lung... is now in his blood stream. They do have him stablized. However, he is 80 yrs old... Its a day to day thing. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Sara
