A night/afternoon at the opera

I won tickets to Vierrdi's La Forza Del Destino!!! I am soo excited!! I have never been to the opera and have ALWAYS wanted to go! Can't say Martin's as excited as I am...but I am dragging him with me anyway...after all I went to MONSTER TRUCKS with him...he can suffer thru the opera with me No seriously, he is pretty excited too! The Knoxville Opera Company and Knoxville Symphony orchestra are putting this on. It's a 1/2 million dollar production And their doing it in the newly restored Tennessee theatre which is an absolutely GORGEOUS theatre, if you ever get a chance look it up on the web. The accoustics are unbelievable and the decor is unsurpassed so needless to say I AM EXCITED!!!!! I'll tell you all about it Monday! Have a great weekend!!!!!!!!!

How can you compare the opera to monster trucks? geez woman! I really can't tell if you are excited or not. Have a great time, and if martin starts to doze off, just give him a nudge with your elbow. LOL

I agree with Joey! Ya just can't compare the two! I mean really? Big ass Trucks, loud motors rumblin through your bones, big ass wheels and trucks runnin over everything in sight! Then Martins got the most beautiful girl on the east coast. All the $8.00 beer you can buy. All them other rednecks had to be jealouse. Ann Apera with someone yellin their brains out and ya don't even get a beer while you're there. Heck I bet Martin could sing to ya and sound just as good and then you could jump his bones when he's done. Women

Yes she is isn't she? I think it's her eyes Martin looked into and was lost from that point on. Poor sap. A lot like Deb and I. When she came up to me and kissed me at the Airport with Beer on her breath and the wettest kiss I'd ever had I knew I was hooked.
