Anyone have a movie they refuse to get on DVD -- becuase it is so exciting to find it in on TV ? For me, it is REAR WINDOW. Having it accessible anytime would ruin it. I need to be able to stumble accross it and go "OOooooo!! Rear Window is on!!!" Ditto for All About Eve. .

I agree with the wizard of oz. I remember growing up and it only came on once a year and it was a big deal!!!.. now it is more than once but I love it all the same. I know every word!

Movies: Miracle of 34th street... Its a Wonderful Life.. Same with the Christmas specials.. I refuse to buy Rudolph or Frosty.. etc... It takes away from it if you can watch it anytime you want. Just like the Great Pumpkin at Halloween!

Grease......... Sixteen Candles........Breakfast Club...... All the old 80's flicks..... I love them!!! It is sooo exciting when I see them on the guide. I wonder if I can use reverse psychology on this one with Kevin....He is FOREVER watching Star Wars...(all of them)....Maybe if I bought the collection on DVD, he will get over them. Hahhaha
