First WOW moments....

Talking with Jill and her new lifestyle coming up someone told her she would be experiencing alot of WOW moments, which got me reflecting on mine... So let's poll and see if anyone can remember their first WOW moment after surgery. Mine would have to be cleaning my house one day and realizing just out of the blue that I had not sat down ONCE to rest and I had the WHOLE house. Before surgery I would work a minute...sit down for 10..work a minute..sit down for 15...

A funny WOW for me was my armpit kept feeling smaller.. not sure why I kept noticing it so much.. but I did.. and of course the energy level.. but that's caught up to me.. I'm just as lazy now as before WLS 'cept for thriftstore shoppin

I always wondered why you walked around with your hands in your armpits!! I'm having an armpit 'wow' moment lately. At least....I guess that's what you'd call it? I have so much freaking loose skin there now....I'm going to have to start asking someone to help me shave 'em. I didn't have this problem up until the past week or two and suddenly I need three hands....two to hold the skin and one to shave with. So not pretty!!! But at least I know I'm gonna have skinny pits like you!!

I was the same way Rhondie...and my collar bones...I was OBSESSED with my coller bones for awhile I just kept feeling them and saying "look I have collar bones"

The first thing I remember was being able to put my hands behind my back and lace my fingers together. It had been a long time since I had been able to do that! So I must have walked around for a month with my fingers laced behind my back just because I could!

Well, I cheated and looked in my profile.. lol. I bought a pair of jeans without trying them on first and they were a size smaller. They fit when I tried them on when I got home.. I remember thinking that they would be "goal" pants if they didnt fit right away! Sunglasses looking too big on my face. People telling me I was losing TOO much weight... never thought I would hear it. How big my smile REALLY is.. with fat cheeks, it gets smooshed. that potty seats actually hurt your butt if you dont have padding there.
