Newbie to the Family and Friends Support Message Board

Hi my name is Jill and I live in Florence, I am having the Lap-Band tomorrow the 28th. Dr. Sonnanstine is my surgeon. I talked to Rhonda from KY and she told me about all the support here. I hope to get to know some of you. I will try to get on here in the next few days to give an update. Thanks

I sure wi**** was me who was gonna start feeling skinnier and skinnier again each morning I woke up... and to think of all the WOW moments you are going to get to experience.. AWESOME... I grew up in Florence.. where Perkins restaurant is now.. on 42 .. are you close by there I lived there from when I was 2 until about 19 of course I'm ~~mumble mum46ble~~ now

I live off Pleasant Valley closer towards 42. Thanks again for all the support. This is exactly what I needed 12 hours before my surgery.

Hi Jill!! Like Rhonda.....I'm a neighbor too! I live in Independence, work in Florence. I know you have your surgery today, but be sure to update us on how you're doing and just come back to 'play'! This is a great group of people not only for surgery support but for support and friendship in general. Chris

Jill, you should be out of surgery by now (12:13 cst) and/or pretty close. Glad to meet you and welcome you into our humble little family. We've all known most of each other on these boards for years, but we welcome and love (well, most of 'em) newbies! Hopefully you have great drugs and get on your feet soon.
