That is so sad and so disturbing....

Yeah its sad. Beyond words sad. It is unbearable the things we see up here that people do to children and animals. Alot of times, we see animal abuse in cases of domestic violence, so much so, that Illinois just passed legislation to allow orders of protection to encompass family pets. That means its a pretty horrifying epidemic. One report we got yesterday, abuser was mad at victim, so after he beats the **** out of her, he decides that he needs to throttle the pet cat against a wall. Ya know, just to show how tough he is and stuff. What a puke. Sadly for him, our DV attorney is a cat lover and wants to hang the ******* It's sad what they do to the women, but it pulls my heart strings when horrific things are done the completely innocent and defenseless. Just makes me sick. A lot of flags should be going off regarding these kids. You can't punishment them for what they *might* do in the future, but I can't believe for a second that their days of torture are done. They probably just beginning. Sad.

Oh geez..... that just royally peeves me off to see what these teens have done in the name of 'fun'. And what is worse to think about....is this the only time?

i'm a little peeved that they are in school.. why not juvie at THE least I would imagine.. school kids will be hearing their parents talking not so pleasantly about these kids.. and it will impact how they will now be treated.. but still.. lock 'em up..
