Lesbianism
Ok, I have just determined (even though I've never had the itch for it) that I could never be a lesbian. Please let me explain.
After hearing about Mr. Teacher and Teacher going to NOBU and a few other people liking sushi, I saw it and thought I would try it. I was selective. I got 3 Nigiri thingies (shrimp on sticky rice) and a few California rolls (this had imitation crab, avacado, sticky rick, seaweed, and something else). Ok, I like shrimp, imitation crab, avacado, and sticky rice. I went through the whole preparation with my engraved chop sticks, my little dollop of wasabi, sliced ginger, and soy. Took a shrimp thingie; no wasabi. Barely tolerable. Rice was good. Ok, huge drink of coke zero. Next a California roll. Same process. OMG I didn't think I could spit it out quick enough! I hate real fish, but love seafood, so I thought I might like it. Uh, no.
So, when one hears how "fishy" people are on the net or in a movie (whatever), I thought of that and decided even if I wanted to try, my sushi experience has made me completely heterosexual. Well, that would be if I'd find a bf, which is not happening anytime soon.
Ok, enjoy your weekend.
Liz
You keep saying it won't happen anytime soon....whatever!!!! lol
btw, i hate all kinds of fish...so does that make me superhetrosexual on the other hand, my husband LOVES all kinds of fish....good thing....lol
we do get japanese together regularly but he hits the sushi bar and i get hibachi i give in and sit at the sushi bar with him....it is the company that matters....
btw, have i told you this week how much i miss my hubby wubby? it has almost been three weeks since i saw him and i miss him soooooooooooooo bad!!!!
Ok, I 'm beginning to think we're really related. Japanese food is wonderful! I like the hibachi type, too. I love the trio of meats they do for some of their regulars at a place in Tulsa. I used to be able to get chicken, filet, and maine lobster tail. Either chicken or calamari. I'm not all that hip on the fried Chinese stuff, which I have a sneaking suspicion really isn't true Chinese food. But yes, Japanese grilled stuff is way way yummy.
And I'm soooooooooooo glad Nate likes sushi. When do you get to see him again?
We are related!!! SISTA I always wish I had a sister....I am a middle child stuck in between two brothers....so you are my SISTA....the funny thing is that Nate is a middle child stuck in between sisters.....lol......
I do love Japanese though...major....I have seen benihana do the volcano, train, egg roll, etc. 500 times so sitting at the sushi bar is okay with me....plus we are very into edammame (spell job i know ) and fried dumplings...
I am hoping to see Nate at Valentine's day.....found out at work today that I will be going to Orlando that week too for work......so maybe I will see Mickey and Natie in one week....what a valentine treat for me.....it will be a week after my big conference I am putting on too so I will need some good loving and snuggling
