... or as me, in God's will? This is almost overwhelmingly weird... bear with me... or for the ladies, bare with me Readers Digest condensed version, cause the long version would be... uhh... long. We need a change... basically from the buttheads we work with... bearable, but certainly not enjoyable at all... The opportunity came up with new stores opening up in the Orange Beach Alabama area... very pretty resort area... white sand beaches, etc... I use to be an instructor in that area around Pensacola to Apalachicola Florida, teaching for a company that gets people their Coast Guard License to carry passengers for hire on charter boats... Anyway, she calls me and asks if she can put in for a transfer... being the sweet wonderful husband I am I of course say Yes! I get home, and there is a message on the machine... my old boss calling wanting to know if I will consider teaching for them again... with a raise in pay! I said no way, Jose, cause I am dumbass OK... I said Yes! Check this out... kinda hard to believe... we both get offers the same day! .... and Lisa is filling out the transfer forms for the new store being built, she had to look up the store number.... Store #1213 Lisa's birthday? December 13th (Theme from Twilight Zone playing..) I am SO looking forward to this... I get to tell my boss today that I QUIT!! My first class is on the 19th of January.... in Destin Florida.... they pay all my mileage and motels and food... it's about a 3 1/2 to 4 hour drive from here. The down side will be staying in the motel for a week to 9 days... but when they get Lisa's store built and we move down there it will be great... I am gonna have my laptop with me... so I can still check on y'all...

Oh Marc....that is the most awesomest news....I knew you were frustrated at your place of employment but am very happy for you and Lisa....you are leaving this good old state though!!!! I hear Destin is awesome!!!! What kind of work does Lisa do? I am truly happy for you both and you better keep us posted!!!! Ann

Thanks! You would think with all the experience I have at moving and changing jobs this would be old hat to me... but I am still a bit stressed over all of this. "What kind of work does Lisa do?" She is a bakery assistant manager at Publix... and they are building 5 stores in that area, so the promotion possibilities went up by a factor of 5! ... err, got 5 times better?...

i am with you on moving....been there done that TONS...but it never gets totally easier...my main problem is i have accumulated more **** that i should be selling on ebay right now good wishes on taking away the stress!!!!!! cool on publix.....that is my fav grocery store......good produce!!!! what did you tell your boss? was he shoked when you said "I QUIT!"

one thing I've been learning this past year is that if you are meant to make changes & arent doing them yourself....cir****tances happen which guide you to that change. for whatever reason this is happening....good luck! glad that youre happy p.s. I cant WAIT till the day I can say "i quit" but I really hope theres a fish I can take with me, cause the fish will have loyalty. again....CONGRATS.
