Mallory is 15 months old!!!
My little girl is 15 months old as of yesterday.. How time flies!
She is walking, talking.. being a nut most of the time.. and the most happy little girl I have seen in a long time.. (with the exception of the all too imfamous temper tamtrum.. but they only last about 10 seconds and she is onto something else).
We went yesterday for her check up and shots.. she had 3 in her little arm and only cried on the last one.. which I chalked up to her being tired already (was fussy before the nurse came to do the shots) and that it was 190 degrees in the exam room.
He was happy to know she says her 1 syllable words (hi, car, etc). but when I told him that she tells the dogs to be quiet (pronounced "ki-et")... he said he was impressed. He said he was happy with her stats and even more impressed that there hasnt been one sick visit or cold in the last 15 months. She wasnt shy around him... she went and grabbed ahold of his tie as soon as he sat down and "helped" read her chart with him.. lol. Too much!
Her stats are:
weight:: 25 lbs. 3 ounces. (up from 24 lbs. 10 ounces at 12 months)... Not a big gain.. She is in the 80th (or 85th, I cant remember) percentile for weight.
Height:: 33.25 inches (up from 32.25 at 12 months) ... Above the 95th percentile for height
Head:: 47 cm (up from 46.25 at 12 months) Normal.
So, that is the update for now.. She is doing well and we were told to push the veggies.. and basically keep on doing what we are doing (except to try to get rid of the binkie before the baby arrives in March).
I posted new pictures in my myspace of Mallory.. time is limited these days so having that get done was a miracle... LOL
Have a great day,
Beckie
Good morning Beckie
Your post made me smile. Chooch is just over 10 weeks old, and the changes we see every day are just the best thing ever. He's starting to hold up his own head and look for us when he hears or voices, he's also smiling and laughing alot more. His biggest trick is being able to stick his tounge out at you when you stick yours out at him
Oh, and last night, he discovered his naughty bits when he was in the . It was hilarious to watch him in that moment of self discovery, his world will never be the same .
Give Mallory a hug and a pinch for me.
"someone once told me that once they find it, they never let go."
It's been the one constant in my life, it has always been there for me, has never let me down, well, there was that ONE time, but I had had alot to drink that night...
And it has never said " Not tonite, I have a head ache " .
Bex, sorry for turning your post about sweet sweet Mal into, well, this...
10 weeks already??? How can that be?
its funny when they are learning something right in front of you .. you can almost see the wheels turning in their little heads..
Sometimes, I think Mal is too smart for her own good and I wish that there were others with 15 month olds so I know she is just doing normal things.. LOL.. She remembers where she left EVERYTHING.. from the binkie to the sippy.. all I have to do is ask her where they are and she will run to whatever room she left it in. She puts her leapfrog puzzles together (shapes)... its amazing to me how fast they learn.
Enjoy him!!!
