Prayer chain time, folks
If you would, the Executive Director of my Agency had a liver transplant on 12-21-07. He has waited with the pager on his belt for over 2 yrs. On the 21st, he went to the hospital for some routine tests when they were notified that one very caring person had lost his/her life and was giving him the gift of life; a new liver. Obviously, Christmas was touch and go for him and his family (from all over the world) just happened to be there for Christmas. He was moved out of ICU after only 3 days! Can you imagine having a liver transplant and being out of ICU in 3 days?????????? Anyway, he did wonderfully until Friday. He's not having problems with the transplant or clots or anything to do with the surgery, itself. However, he was moved back into ICU for respiratory issues. We've not been told if he's on a ventilator or not, but I'm worried. This man is truly one of the best people I've ever met. He's a genuine man who has his faith firmly planted and God as his best friend. Those of you who pray or believe in sending positive vibes, please send some to Jon and Lonnie. Jon is my Director and Lonnie is his wife.
Thanks in advance!
Liz
