Hey Central and Midwest State people!

Please be careful when this huge storm blows through. Oklahoma was blessed with the storm system going north of us, but it still dropped our temps dramatically. All we're hearing is from Kansas up through Missouri and Illinois there is going to be major snow storm with ice. CNN just said there would be drastic power outages, so stock up now on the essentials. Stay warm! Liz

Not good, Mandy. I'll actually be there in January with my mommy next month! I found a great package deal and will be taking her. We'll be downtown, but I know how to use that monorail to get to Caesar's Shoppes very well. Maybe if you're not busy and want to have dinner with us one night, let me know. Din din is on me! Liz

Thanks Liz... Not again...we had a huge storm last year.....my power was off for a few days....when is this going to happen....

Tina, CNN is showing pictures of a storm that is going on in upper Kansas to Missouri right now. They're including Chicago, Cincinatti, and a St. Louis in the range of "winter weather advisory" (which as we know just means, maybe) to the "blizzard warning". It says the upper midwest sometime today. I'ts 10:47 am central time and CNN just said it was on it's way right now. They're more concerned with the amount of heavy rain/snow mixture and how the rain will freeze on the lines and snap them. Be careful and keep a hot man close for warmth! Liz

Yep boo to this crap!! Right now we are getting freezing rain!! I am staying inside all day. i got home just in time before it started

Oklahoma missed most of what you are getting, but it is still a gloomy, rainy day. Honestly, I'd rather have all the freezing rain and/or snow you all are going to get, then I'd have a reason to feel gloomy and ick. I just have to suck it up on today and say I'm just tired and grumpy. Stay warm and safe!
