How are y'all doing this morning? I had a sleep over with my granddaughter last night, so I could give my daughter a little break. Destiny (my new granddaughter), sleeps all the time, and Brianna is the one that keeps my daughter running around....She is sooo sweet! I just adore her. So, whats up? Any plans for the weekend? Me...Nothing

I LOVE snow..... But I don't have to live with it.....so that makes a difference..... I have only been in snow twice......I drove to it for the first time ever a few years ago.....then last winter, it snowed at our new house.... 6" It was awesome. But I guess if you have to live in it everyday....it wouldn't be such fun. Have a wonderful weekend. Jen

i don't wanna have any plans.. I want to stay in and let poppa make me some soupPEA-SOUP.. and lounge in my pajamas all day.. playing on ebay stuff but I do think tomorrow that he has an appt with car insurance lady.. and then mentioned he wants to go to one of our favorite thrift stores.. so I may go with him. And I think we are having some ham dinner instead of soup.. it's all good!!

I am getting so anxious about your vase. It will probably be attacked on the last day.....during the last hour, like last time. How do you know that it is a Mackenzie Childs vase? I don't see that any of them actually say that on them..... I think I need to go Thrift Shopping this weekend. My daughter just gave me a huge bag of baby/maternity clothes to donate... I really would like to try Ebay....and make her some money....I guess we will see. I just need more energy to do all this. I can't quite completly heal from my knee surgery. STUPID KNEE. It has been 2 months...and if I stand on it for more than 20-30 minutes....it lays me out for the entire day. SUCKS! Anywho....enjoy your weekend with Poppa... Tell him I said Hi!!

I would maybe recommend waiting until after christmas too.. cuz the post office is gonna suck right now unless you want people to buy the stufff as christmas presents.. I didn't have a clue until after I bought it and was researching/googling Palm and Devon that was on the bottom of the other vase. I found one match.. and noticed it was a sink basin.. for like $500ish.. and then it had Makenzie Childs.. and went and googled it. That's when it all started coming together.. and I searched ebay on the makenzie childs and FOUND THEM.. it pays to research just like Dan's neck scarves.. Johnstons of Elgins is pretty good brand also.. from 1700's Scottish.. high price for cashmere.. we have several "watchers" on it right now. did I mention some items on there are Poppas.. and some are women clothing..and shoes.. he's getting good/better at the designers names.. and what's selling.. and so am I.. we're learning.. He also got a bid on his camel hair jacket.. and told me there was a long camel hair coat at the thrift store.. I found it last nite for $5.00. I searched it a little.. and see that new retail for over $100.. and now I want to keep it like I need another coat. But I don't have a camel hair coat and it's light weight.. and reviews say it's all the rage.. designers are using it.. I should sell it but I want it.. stupid knee *kissing reboogs knees*

Ohhh....another good find....if you ever come across them is.... Lladro I started collecting them when we got married. I have 6 pieces, and you can for SURE make money on them.... Expensive.....But I could see where someone would think they were just a trinket and donate them to a thrift shop.....they really don't look expensive. AWESOME..thank YOUthose are very pretty.. I'm trying to keep a list now of good finds.. I came across a silk scarf online made by pucci that sold for over $200.. I ran home to look at all my scarves.. I had none by pucci.. not cetain on the pronunciation of that name but I told Dan to look for some at the thriftstore..

I just searched Pucci......and first thing that came up was a $918.00 dress But it looks like the FULL name of the brand is Emilio Pucci......might help when you are looking.
