An ACTUAL WLS question......
The further post-op I get, the sicker I am ALL THE TIME.
Does anyone else have this problem?
If I eat greasy stuff.....SICK
If I eat sugar........SICK
If I eat carby stuff.......SICK
If I eat dairy..........SICK
If I avoid all the above, I am left with meat only and I am not a big meat eatter, as a matter of fact, I rarely eat red meat, I HATE fish, I HATE pork.....so all thats left is Chicken.
Blah! I just want to feel good after I eat.....JUST ONCE!
Hugs,
Jen
the further out I get I am just tired .. I need to get to bed earlier.. my own fault. I go to bed 11ish and up at 5:30.. and about the same on the weekends.. up around 6ish or 7. I need to go to bed earlier..
eating.. I just ate sausage of the George.. yummie.. and for lunch I had a fried chicken breast from Krogers..
altho I guess I could be so tired cuz I ate fried food and Crunchy Munch that Michelle gave me..
How's those Peanut M&M's.. they going down good..
I like the Red, pink and orange Otter Pops. I got a stash in the pantry. I was at Costco yesterday and forgot about grabbing another box of them. I have the bottom drawer in the freezer stocked up all the time!!
Oh, yes I see Ben & Jerry's have those 4oz size cups of Cherry Garcia now too... That was one of my big down falls before WLS... I wish they would come out with a s/f Cherry Garcia.
Ok. I just finished my midnite snack and Yes it was a pink Ottter Pop!!
I am getting sick easier too. Weird.
Carbs... my gosh. I am sorry to admit this -- but I have started using them as a sleep aid.
One bowl of cereal, and I need to go to sleep 20 minutes later.
But the frustrating thing is I can have a high-protein low carb (like 5 carb) meal, too... and STILL want to go to sleep not much later. OR I just dont' feel good.
It seems to correspond with girl-time alot for me.
So I think part of it is hormonal.
I was sick ALL THE TIME when I was pregnant.
EVERYTHING made me sick.
I think to a certan extent I feel that way too. I feel more fradgile? Does that make sense? It seems at the drop of a hat I feel like crap. I just don't get it sometimes. I still wouldn't change it and go back to the way I used to feel all the time. I know what ya mean about feeling good after you eat. I haven't decided if I'm looking for that "special" feeling after I eat, like the glow of a good cigarette from my other addiction or just feeling good. I think maybe the feeling bad may be a good thing on some levels or I'd be packing it back on. Good question Jen. Hugs, SParky
