Yep! Friday, Rossana and I leave for the Dominican Republic for a weeks vacation...then when we come back....I work 2 days and get 5 days off for Turkey day! Christmas gifts are bought already...thanks to ebay! As far as after turkey day sales...I may hit a few if the deal is good enough. Have a great day! D.

Dan and I have recently *discovered* E-Bay

.. and Craigslist.. actually Dan is in the process of buying a car he found off craigslist this Saturday

deck the halls with lots of pressure. i love the xmas spirit but the rest of the holiday blows chunks. two months of shopping. I can't figure out what's worse, figuring out what to get people or figuring out what to ask for. If you ask me thanksgiving is just xmas without the presents so that's where i want to put my thoughts. gratitude and family. that's what it's all about. not shopping.

I *for one* most certainly agree.. actually mom told me what she actually wanted this year.. *thank goodness

* It was Cutco knives that she's lost.. 3 in all to replace them. So I got online and ordered them.. and had them shipped to her. I called and told her they are ******* directly to YOU.. UPS since you are home all day and I am not. I had them wrapped... and said on the invoice.. DON'T OPEN TIL CHRISTMAS

She got them Saturday.. I saw her yesterday and she had a bandaid on her thumb

.. she opened it.

she told my dad.. look Ottis.. this box looks like it's a christmas present

and she opened it..

So she gave Dan and myself our christmas present yesterday.. money that she gives every year.. but this will help with auto purchase. Christmas came early this year

.. I told mom now we can just enjoy each other's company now. AS IT SHOULD BE...

Well since I still don't have a job, I am still pretending that Christmas isn't coming...even if I had a job I wouldn't be insane enough to go shopping on Black Friday...I can't stand the crowds.
