I am currently in Class and bored to tears
These days to be considered up to speed, most university's have wifi networks for the student body and faculty access. It allows us to link and sync with the Prof's PowerPoint class notes. Or as I was today, surf the web to pass the time and avoid falling to sleep.
I did survive, but barely.
On another note, Sas has completed 8 weeks and has 4 to go in her final round of clinicals. She has been working a long time to complete her OT Masters and now it is around the bend. Once her clinicals are finished, she will receive a temporary OT license that will allow her to practice in a full OT capacity until she sits for the National Boards.
I hope all this investment in our degrees has a pay day attached to it.
Take Care,
Ron
You know, that is a booming business; economic development. My mother is the President of her county's Economic Development Committee. They have been established for over 15 yrs, but she just came on board during the last 3 yrs. They (meaning she and I) started discussing the county and how rural Oklahoma is declining in businesses. We started throwing out ideas and coincidentally, we discovered a friend of hers was about to put 40 acres of undeveloped land on the market. It was perferct; in fact, it was next to the turnpike leading to your alma mater. Anyway, I helped her write grants, got the Board to think it could be done, sat in on a meeting (she used my job title with the State as a little "pull") and they decided to sit down and buy the land. Since she was friends with this person, she had a designee come to terms, we got the money in grant and no interest 100 yr loans and they bought it. Within 1 week of closing, a company that does nationwide accounting was interested in having a building there.
So, long story short; Industrial Sites are $$$$$$$.
