It's Been a long time

I haven't been on any of the OH boards in some time now. I just finished divorce action this past Friday, We tried but too many negative things so I called it quits, NurseKuba (Kathy) who also has not been on the boards for some time and I are still together with one exception. She has an engagement ring on her finger. We are still in Phoenix but thinking about doing some traveling through the traveling nurse programs. We haven't decided yet where we are going but Kathy is looking at her options. My home in Havasu is up for sale because of the divorce and that is going to be a major job moving just my stuff especially my big motorized radio towers and all the antennas. Haven't figured yet where I am going to store this stuff we don't need while traveling. Not immediately but when we get tired of the traveling we may move to North Carolina and get a house. Too many things happening at once for this 69 year old senior citizen. Oh another problem is I am scheduled for surgery on my neck to repair 2 bad discs there on Nov 8th. Bad timing because of all the moving going on so will have to get some help with the moving. I have been having some routine medical tests done at the Phoenix VA Hospital. One of the best VA hospitals I have been involved in since I got out of the air force in 62. I will try to get on here more often to say hello to some of my old friends. Lot of new faces on here. Jen it was so good to chat with you. Glad things are going well with you, Kevin and the whole family. I hope things with us get back to some degree of normalcy. I hope you all enjoy the new place you are living now. I hate moving period but sometimes it can't be helped. Had the opportunity to meet Kathy's oldest sister who was out here briefly on her way to a convention in Vegas. She flew into Phoenix and we drove her to Vegas so we at least had a chance to do some visiting. Kathy sends her best to all of you. She is so busy with her job she just doesn't have the time to get online much anymore. She is working for one of the Hospice places not far from here and day shift but she frequently is oncall on weekends and sometimes nights during week. I still like the hours better than when she was working at the hospital. all our best to you and the rest of the family Mike

Hi Barb, it has been a long time. Between settling this divorce and medical issues I have been dealing with, I am lucky I am retired or I never would get anything done. Your pictures look great on here hon. Another WLS success story. I didn't even know this board existed until i bumped into Jen few days ago and she filled me in. It is definitely a good thing with people on here that have other things in common beside just having WLS. I will try to get on here more often now that I know it exists and getting some other things in my life straightened out. Take care of yourself and keep up the good work. huggssss Mike
