what's your take..
on the whole.. Ellen and doggie Rescue war..
personally.. I love my Ellen.. but I do think that she could have handled this much better. Now the lady has been backed into a corner and is going to stand her fight.. which unfortunately makes her look like a ***** to many. I understand she has rules.. and I hate when celebraties think they don't have to follow the rules.. but I would think that something could have been worked out.. or if not and the family couldn't have the puppy back, I don't think that Ellen should have called this lady out on the carpet.. as I'm SURE she is getting major threats and stuff..

I hate rigidity! (did i spell that right?) I think when dealing with matters of the heart you can't always follow the rules. Here is a situation though where know one really knows the conversations that took place to build up to this point. I do think that taking it on air like that was not right/fair on her part. I would have just offered her a ton of money and called it good.
Mornin sweetie! Sparky
All I know is if I signed a contract with the pound telling the pound I would bring the dog back to familiar territory(the pound, not that it's all that familiar), I would take the dog back to the pound, not give it to my hair dresser, however, put in a good word for the hairdresser to come pick up the dog the next day or week...whatever.
To have a crying fit over this poor dog on national tv and about her hair dressers poor daughter is heart broken....that's rediculous.
I think dog-like, before I think human-like.
Best interest of my canine/feline buddy.
I think the family should go through the proper adoption procedures but they should be given first chance to qualify to adopt Iggy.
Their are strict rules for good reasons and they can't be thrown out the window for a celebrity. BUT i think they can make some exceptions and because the dog is already placed, they should approve the new home IF they meet all the other qualifiers. It HAS to be the adoption agencies decision and NOT Ellen's. They need to do what's best for the dog according to their judgement and if the family fits all their qualifications, how can they decide it's best to take the dog away?
What yall don't realize is they broke their own rules. They did NOT do a home inspection and they did NOT have her sign the contract as they do with us ordinary people. Therefore, they placed her outside the usual parameters all by themselves. I say they should have left the puppy with the girls. Ellen is a big animal lover and that is a well known fact. She never would have given the puppy to a bad home....
If they wanted her to follow their rules, they should not have broken their own rules themselves...............
