Happy Sunday....
Good Morning and I hope you all have a great day planned....
I can really tell that Fall is here....so dark in the mornings and we do not change clocks until early November.....which is right around the corner...WOW....
We are suppose to be in the mid 70's here today too and all week....gotta love it!!!!
So, what is everyone doing today????
I am going to head to church and finish doing everything I did not get done yesterday....yikes.....and prepare for work this week....gotta love it!!!
Love you all,
Nannie
Morning Annie-baNannie
I love this weather.. Dan is sitting on the patio re-potting a planter he got me a few weeks ago.. we are enjoying some coffee. Our friend Lyn called last nite and said that her and her husband wasn't going to the Reneassance.. her words were.. "Russ is being a dick ".. I've been there done that last year with her.. so I understand
So.. poppa and I are going to the breakfast morning AA Meeting at 10:30.. and knowing us will stop at the Thriftstore to *just look*.. then back home and I'll make a pot of chili.. and we will leasurely lounge and enjoy the day before treking back to work tomorrow.
Have fun at chuch.. if you have time include poppa and me in your prayers
I really like our Sunday morning AA.. it reminds me of church.. only with *how do I say this.. * more common people.. who are very unique and special
I love this weather too....even though I wore sandals and crop pants to church still
I hope you had a great time at the breakfast meeting....one of my favorite shows of all time starring andy garcia and meg ryan is the one about her alcoholism (i cant think of the title right now) and everytime you talk about a meeting i think of that movie....it was so moving and awesome...i loved watching her healing.....
I did pray for you and poppa at church...I really did It was a great sermon mainly about stewardship but also about giving thanks....it reminds me of a post that always happened EVERYDAY on the TX board and that was a "Grateful Post"....everyday, people posted things that they were gratfeul for that day or the past day (can be related to weight loss or other things)...it was very moving and awesome...I think I am going to start it here and see what people think...as we get closer to the holidays it is a good reminder that we should be grateful EVERYDAY!
Anyway, I digress.....I am going to run to the mall really quick, go get some groceries, run and pick up pictures and hopefully find a cute Halloween costume for my little niece...my brother and sister in law gave me permission to get her something....WOOO HOOOO
I really hope we can hook up in a week or so....I would SOOOOOOOOOOOO love to see you and the gang....I hope to know more by Mon or Tue of this week......
Loves,
Mrs. Nate
What a great idea....some of us have had a real awakening lately as to what is and isnt important. I liked Rhonda's idea of paying it forward too, even though she considered it boasting. In a lot of ways, I feel that *if* we are held accountable to our actions, we tend to make a conscious effort to put forth good in the world. Besides, it could be a great way to generate ideas on how to make the lives of others just a little bit brighter! Thats just me though
Momma and Annie in the SAME place again! I am sooooo jealous
There better be plenty of hugs and kisses from me gosh darn-it.
I love and miss you the mostest, so there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There will be TONS of hugs and kisses....wish you could make it...but maybe you and I can hook up somewhere else soon Plus you may be getting over your flight issues at that same time
I love your vebiage in your first paragraph....so very true "if we are accountable to our actions, we tend to make a conscious effort to put forth good in the world"...SO TRUE!
I will start the post today...and we can keep adding and adding everyday....I need more positive in my life too.....
PS I am sending more pics of wedding to you so be on the look out...am downloading mocha mama's right now...and am sending and ordering from Wally World...I think they are going to be pissed at me

not too long ago.. Ramon started a daily Grateful Post on the Addictions Board.. I really like it and particpate ALOT on there too. Actually following up with what Dawn said about being held accountable.. that's what I did when needing to call two women about possible sponsorship. I had their numbers.. but postponed calling them.. I finally posted about it on THAT board.. and right after I did.. I called both at lunch. Somehow bringing it out in the open holds me accountable and I do what I have to then.. and I'm usually GRATEFUL that I did
post the grateful here too.. I'll more than be happy to post what I'm grateful for
Actually, Ramon did the TX one too and I loved it....we will just best practice from him
I am the exact same way as you....have to write it and tell people and it holds me accountable....so we could do a grateful and accountable post a day....I need to really watch my carbs again and fricking exercise and I need the accountability bad....plus other stuff just around the house, etc.....
did you go to thrift store????
"did you go to thrift store????"
does a bear potty in the woods..
we went yesterday for a few hours.. I bought home stuff.. two lamp shades you see them in the pic.. pink flowered one and blue sponged one.. and a crystal tulip bowl.. a dress.. and a santa claus cookie jar. I was going to give it to my mom, but Dan liked it.. I think it's on the tv stand too but I'm going to more it somewhere else.. not sure where yet.
I know.. bringing in more clutter..I'm sic
