yo' ss-n (surgery sister-nancy)
I'm so glad we're gonna meet you! wow, i'm going to lunch with two VERY pretty ladies! two years ago that never would've happened!!!!
so like right after lunch we're gonna have to start driving back to Michigan so basically we have between breakfast and lunch to see the town.... what would you suggest we check out? What is this "loop" you speak of???
oh we'll also have tomorrow afternoon if we get there early enough. i'm hoping to be there by noon and our concert is around 6 or 7 i think. I want to go to Second City so badly but their only show on Sunday is while we're at The Hives concert! What's a good thing to do in the afternoon? Any suggestions? Any place special we might want to catch an early dinner? We'll be near Wrigley Field for the show and we're staying in Oak Park.
See you soon, sista!
i am sooo sorry we missed you. I am so beaten up today. my old body can't handle the fun we had. i am feeling pain EVERYWHERE and i seem to have come down with a bad cold and a 15+ hour hangover (how'd THAT happen lol.)
I have this thing about tipping the bar tender very well and always going back to the same bartender. That way the drinks get stronger and stronger. Well i forgot i'm a G.A.P. now and can't handle that much booze (plus i'm out of practice) so it kind of backfired on me when the last drink was almost to the top before she even put in any mixer. I was hammered. And we were dancing and screaming our heads off. and then we hit the dance floor and were caught in the slam dancing fray. CRAZY stuff for old timers like us. I need to check in at the nursing home. Oh yeah, the fact that it took an hour and half just to get out of Chicago and into Indiana (TWO LANES ON I-90 AND ONE LANE ON I-94!!!!) was just insane and extremely tough on my poor damaged body.
Awesome city with awesome people though and we WILL be back and we WILL make sure to visit with you.
THE HIVES ARE LAW!!!!
p.s. Rolling Stone Records said no problem, they will ship our CD to us so we don't have to pick it up at the Irving Park store. whew.
