Interesting Night

Ok..so when the scales stop moving and even creep up a little, there aren't so many WOW moments. But this one is worth mentioning, especially when the self-esteem can drop a little.... I went to the gym last night...saw my trainer and set up my sessions for next week (YAY me!!). Then I went to Walmart. I was still in gym clothes (spandex pants, sports top), but just went in to pick up a few things. I walked past this GOOD looking guy, who smiled and winked at me. And I was thinking, wow, that has NEVER happened to me...kind of a little pick me up!! Then I went on about my business and he had walked around the store looking for me because he wanted to stop and tell me how BEAUTIFUL I was (he went on and on about my eyes and my hair...as I was turning red!!). He said he had NEVER done anything like that, but he knew he would be mad at himself if he didn't talk to me. But too bad he wasn't from around here...he was driving from Ohio to Savannah (where he is moving to). We talked for a few minutes, and he invited me to dinner, but I had other plans (plus, I wanted to be a little cautious). But I did give him my email address....ya never know what life has in store...... Hugs, Dianne

Of course, I'll probably never hear from him.....but I got that memory!!

Wow, how cool is that??? Seriously. I think it's awesome that he found you again to talk to you...that just doesn't happen very often. Good to err on the safe side for sure, but keep us posted and let us know if he emails you. You really never do know! I have to tell you, my daughter tells me all the time I should approach a man when/if I think he's flirting with me. She gets mad at me when I don't, actually. After hearing this, I just might take the risk one of these times (with caution, of course)!

I think if nothing else, it's making me think about what I look like when I go out.....and trying to keep a smile on my face and making eye contact. I'm usually the one who looks away if someone looks at me. So.....I'm going shopping now

Thanks Annie!! Geez...I can't even get a short distance relationship to work!! Well, the ball is in his court, so we'll have to see if I hear from him. There are, however, 2 Krispy Kreme's in Savannah.....and I have been there several times for traning/auditing, so there are some possibilities out there!!! Hugs, Dianne
