you really need a waffle. I made little tiny waffles with whipped cream (made with splenda) and strawberries for Mel and I to eat while watching the premier. "Waffles... whooohooo!" where is Nikki and Micha???

Jay, How is the sleeping going these days? I couldn't get to sleep until 3:00 this morning and have found none of the sleep aids (script or OTC) work for me.

it's a little better. i wake up a lot because of back pain but i'm getting more sleep. still the sleeping pills don't work. i have some now called temazepam which don't put me to sleep but make me feel awesome. I meant to give one to Mel the other night and accidentally gave her an ambien. I learned my lesson about sharing prescriptions. she went out like a switch was thrown, i got so scared i called the poison control hotline. they told me you could eat a bottle of ambien and you wouldn't die, just sleep a long time. i was still concerned because i kept trying to wake her up and she sounded like Foster Brooks and i couldn't tell what she was saying. Probably only us old folks remember Foster Brooks. IF i'm not the only one. He's the guy on all the Dean Martin roasts who pretended to be sloshed.

Foster Brooks is one of the few comedians that could play a drunk and make it believable. Cathy will not let me take Ambien. Not sure why as others have done OK with it but she just insists that isn't a program for me. Maybe if I got into some television series that would put me into a routine prior to going to bed. Maybe, maybe not. Ron

I remember Foster Brooks.. when not playing "sloshed" he was rather distinguish looking. And I have to chuckle a little with Mel and the ambian..*so glad she's okay*.. but I think all people who take ambian should have to "put up with" a loved one on 'em for a night or two.. that'll learn 'em.. IMO
